Terms of service

These terms cover your use of bellomia.co and anything you buy from us. Placing an order means you accept them. We have written them in plain English on purpose — if something here is unclear, write to us and we will explain it rather than point at a clause.

Who can order

You need to be at least 18, or have a parent or guardian place the order for you. You also need to give us a real name, a real email and a real delivery address — we cannot deliver to an address that does not exist, and we cannot help you afterwards if we cannot reach you.

What we sell, and what we promise about it

We sell women's dresses. On every product page we list the fabric, whether the piece is lined, how much it gives, and the garment's own measurements taken flat. Those numbers are the most accurate thing we can give you and they take precedence over the general chart in our size guide.

Two honest limits. First, colour on a screen is not colour in a room: your monitor, your phone and your light will all shift it, and we cannot guarantee an exact match. Second, our photographs are of the garment, not of you — the measurements are there so you can decide with numbers instead of with a model who is not you.

Prices and payment

All prices are in US dollars and include shipping within the United States. Sales tax, where it applies, is calculated at checkout and shown before you pay. Payment is taken at checkout through Shopify; we never see or store your card details.

We can change prices at any time, but never on an order you have already placed and paid for. If a price or a product detail is listed wrongly — a genuine mistake on our side — we may cancel the affected order and refund you in full. We will tell you why.

Your order

Your order is an offer to buy. It is accepted when we email you a confirmation, and the contract exists from that moment.

We may refuse or cancel an order, and we will always say why. The usual reasons are: the item sold out between your click and our confirmation, the payment could not be verified, the address is undeliverable, or the order looks like a resale or a fraud attempt. If we cancel, you get a full refund to the original payment method.

Our stock figures come from the warehouses that hold the garments and they are accurate almost always, not always. If something you bought turns out to be unavailable, we do not substitute it for something else — we tell you and refund you.

Delivery

We ship within the United States only. Shipping is free on every order, with no minimum, because it is already included in the price. Timings, dispatch and tracking are set out in our Shipping policy, which forms part of these terms.

Delivery estimates are estimates. Carrier delays, weather and holiday peaks happen, and we will always tell you what we know. Responsibility for the parcel passes to you when it is delivered to the address you gave us.

If you are buying for a specific date, write to us before you order and we will tell you honestly whether it will arrive in time.

Returns

You have 7 days from delivery to start a return, return shipping is on us, and the full conditions are in our Refund policy, which also forms part of these terms. In short: unworn, unwashed, unaltered, tags on, and a return authorization number from us before you send anything back.

Seven days is long enough to try a dress on at home and decide. It is deliberately not long enough to wear it to an event and send it back afterwards, and items that come back worn cannot be refunded.

Your account

If you create an account, keeping your password private is your responsibility, and anything done through your account is treated as done by you. Tell us straight away if you think someone else has access. We can close an account that is being used to abuse the store, and we will tell you why.

What belongs to us

The BelloMia name, the site design, our written descriptions and fit notes, and the photography on this site are ours or licensed to us. You are welcome to share links and screenshots of a product. You may not copy our text or images to sell the same garments elsewhere, or use the BelloMia name in a way that suggests we are connected to you when we are not.

Using the site

Do not attempt to break, overload, scrape at scale, or gain unauthorized access to the site; do not upload anything harmful; do not use the store to break a law. Any review, comment or message you send us may be used by us in connection with the store, and you confirm it is your own and not unlawful.

Links to other sites

Where we link somewhere else, we are not responsible for what is on the other end or for what they do with your data. Their terms apply there, not ours.

What we are and are not responsible for

We stand behind what we describe: if a dress arrives damaged, defective or not what we listed, email us within 48 hours of delivery with a photo and we cover it — return shipping and either a replacement or a full refund.

Beyond that, the site and its content are provided as they are, without any further warranty we have not put in writing. To the extent the law allows, BelloMia is not liable for indirect or consequential losses — for example a missed event, lost time or lost earnings — and our total liability for any order is limited to what you paid for that order. Nothing here removes rights that US or state consumer law gives you and that cannot be waived.

Indemnity

If someone brings a claim against us because you broke these terms or the law, you agree to cover the reasonable costs that arise from it.

Which law applies

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming and the federal law of the United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes go to the state or federal courts in Wyoming, and we both agree to that. Before it gets there, write to us: almost everything is faster to fix by email.

The rest

If one part of these terms turns out to be unenforceable, the rest stays in force. Not enforcing something once does not mean we give up the right to enforce it later. These terms, together with our Shipping, Refund and Privacy policies, are the whole agreement between us.

Changes

We may update these terms. The version published on this page when you place your order is the one that applies to that order, so changes are never retroactive.
